A three-season sleeping bag suitable for Spring to Autumn.

Topas is a great choice for those who like sleeping outdoors often, for those who don’t mind a spot of rain at night and who aren’t put off by bad weather forecasts. A three-season sleeping bag with a thermal comfort rating down to around -7 °C, you’ll be able to use it most of the year, and with packability that could be compared to that of down filling, enhanced by the compression sack that comes as standard, it’ll fit perfectly in your backpack. In addition, it’s hypoallergenic, compared to feathers, and water runs off it like water off a duck’s back.

We are fully aware that cold is the number one enemy of sleep, so we fight it every way we can. Naturally, the zip is double-sided and can be opened/closed from both the inside and the outside. In addition, it has a flap on the inside, which effectively prevents air from penetrating inside.

There is a draft collar just behind the head opening. When tightened, it keeps the heat inside the sleeping bag very efficiently and prevents the user from breathing vapour into the sleeping bag.

It may seem trivial, but who takes clothes pegs into the great outdoors? That’s why we’ve given our sleeping bags two loops to make them easier to hang and dry faster.

With left or righthand side zip, it is not only possible to join two Topases together, but also to join the Topas with a Micra or Spirit.

BHB Micro two-layer shingle thermal insulation (2.0x100 g/m2)

Like double-layer insulation, the insulation fleece here is sewn so that one layer is sewn to the upper fabric, but the second layer is cut into shingles, which are sewn to the inner fabric on one side and to the upper fabric on the other. This technology means there are three overlapping layers of insulation on about half the surface of the sleeping bag and two layers on the remaining half. It could be said that this is a kind of intermediate level between two-layer and three-layer insulation, which makes Topas the ideal three-season sleeping bag, usable from spring to autumn.

Clima Control Shield

ClimaControl Shield (CCS) technology provides a balanced outer fabric, preventing warm air from escaping while ensuring adequate breathability.
It optimizes the balance between windproofing to retain warmth and venting internal moisture to prevent condensation.
The combination of these features ensures user comfort and a pleasant internal climate inside the sleeping bag.
The water repellent DWR coating provides adequate protection against bad weather.
Clima Control Shield treated fabric is lightweight, packable and soft to the touch.
