Stratos Pants

Stratos are high-quality membrane trousers that are sure to be appreciated by the exacting fans of alpine activities such as mountaineering or ski mountaineering.

This is evidenced not only by the technical cut, making it easy to straddle obstacles, reinforced exposed areas and numerous pockets, but also by features such as the full-zip trouser legs or detachable snow gaiters.

The trousers also include braces, which are attached with Velcro fasteners, so they can be removed easily. A belt with a quick release metal buckle is also included.

The three-layer laminate with a Japanese A.C.D. membrane and fully taped seams will keep you dry whether you’re exposed to the rain, wind, or sweating on a strenuous climb.

Reinforced shoulders, elbows and waist ensure these exposed areas are highly durable and protected from wear from a pack or harness. The pockets have waterproof YKK zips, are large enough to be comfortably used with gloves, and their position means they can be easily used even when wearing a harness.

The three-layer laminate with a highly flexible A.C.D. membrane has a water column of 30,000 mm and breathability of 25,000 g gH2O/m2.

Three-layer laminate means that the membrane is pressed between two layers of fabric - the outer fabric and inner lining, so that it is sufficiently protected from abrasion.
