Peak Short NX
TheSpartan version of the Peak 25 NX sleeping pad features great packability in exchange for a tiny bit of discomfort. The shape of the sleeping pad provides just enough support for the torso, including the buttocks, while the legs remain on the bare ground, so we recommend using at least another waterproof mat.
The construction, with a single layer of relatively large horizontal cavities, saves on weight, while maintaining relatively high thermal comfort.
The cavities also form a pleasant wavy structure once inflated.
The brushed top layer of fabric increases friction, so your sleeping bag will not slip off the sleeping pad.
DLF - Dual layer flat valve
A dual layer flat valve with a check valve for easier inflation/deflation and regulation of sleeping pad pressure.
After opening the valve’s upper layer, you can easily inflate the sleeping pad without losing pressure thanks to the check valve. By pushing the check valve, pad pressure can be gently regulated. When the second layer is opened, the valve is fully open and the sleeping pad can be easily deflated.
SCC - Single horizontal chambers foam construction
The simple construction of wide horizontal chambers combines the maximum possible reduction in the weight of the foam with high thermal resistance due to the prevention of air circulation in the pad. When inflated, the wide chambers form cylinders that greatly increase the comfort of the sleeping pad.
