DWR

(Durable Water Repellent - can be translated as durable water repellency) is a surface treatment that prevents water from penetrating the fabric surface and helps prevent staining of the garment surface.

Garments with DWR treatment resist rainwater, droplets bead up and the surface remains unwetted. Over time, the DWR effect can diminish naturally, and this process is accelerated by washing with strong chemical agents. Therefore, it is recommended to restore the protection after some time using special impregnation sprays.
