Gemini 150 Extreme Snow

The winter version of the Gemini 150 Extreme with snow skirts for extreme weather conditions has a rigid 7075 T9 Duralumin pole construction.

The ultralight nylon Ripstop flysheet with UV protection saves weight. The flysheet is made of Nylon with RipStop treatment and triple, double-sided siliconization, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams of the flysheet are taped.

The groundsheet is made of Nylon with a Polyurethane coating and a water column of 10,000 mm. The poles are made up of duralumin segments (7075 T6) with a diameter of 9.5 mm.

Description

The tent is double-skinned consisting of an inner tent and flysheet. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with two entrances on its longer sides. The flysheet has a hexagonal floor plan and two entrances with two vestibules, suitable for storing packs, etc., and is equipped with a snow skirt on the bottom edge. The flysheet entrances can be opened on the left or right side, or both at the same time. This option is useful when cooking, for example, to easily create the required windbreak.

Pitching the tent

Use the hooks to suspend the inner tent from the duralumin structure. Pull the flysheet over the structure, then attach it to the poles using the Velcro on the underside. Fasten the buckles and pull the flysheet taut. Anchor the tent with pegs and guy ropes.

Ventilation

There is a vent at the top of the flysheet dome. Vent covers are designed so they are not affected by the wind. This prevents leaks during rain with strong winds.
